There’s always more going on than we can see, a stage and a backstage. Sometimes God’s ways are revealed to us; many times they are not. Daniel invites us backstage. Through the rising and falling of nations and rulers, through trial, through life, through death, through all things, we can be sure: The Lord Reigns. His desires will come to pass. This is a golden thread of truth taking us from before all time, through Daniel, to the cross and beyond. As such, it is good to worship Him alone; serve Him alone; and trust Him alone.
