Time for an update on the Garden Project!   We thought a brief update was in store.    Since doing a church-wide blessing at the site in early spring, I’m excited to report that much progress has been made.  Having started with one simple garden box and having each member pour water and prayer symbolically into it, I’m happy to say that God has already “planted” 3 other boxes!

 

The middle of the summer brought setback, though, as only one family from our original core team is still participating.  Despite that setback, the Lord continued to provide willing hearts to keep the project moving along (for example – soil donations).  Just this week another person stepped forward with a heart to see this project through.   It would be great to see that core team rebuilt, so please join with us in prayer.

 

The vision?  We want to build another bridge into the Riverside community for the sake of the gospel.   We hope this garden will function this way.  If the Lord’s been tugging your heart to get involved in something at CCC, why not consider the Garden Project?  We hope that this will allow us to foster the current relationships we have and potentially build new ones with the Riverside community.
