CarePortal

Through our partnership with Careportal, we aim to serve the Lord by meeting needs of children in our community. CarePortal is a technology platform that connects local churches directly with vulnerable children and their families. CarePortal is a national Christian organization with a Charlottesville chapter. PACEM

We participate in the work of this Charlottesville non-profit to help provide shelter, a meal, and a loving welcome for some of Charlottesville’s homeless population. PACEM (“Peoples and Congregations Engaged in Ministry”) supplies a safe environment for homeless men and women throughout the winter months. In 2024, we hosted the men’s shelter in March.

Garden Project

Christ Community Church has partnered with the residents of the Riverside Ave. community to foster deeper relationships through the planting and tending of above ground gardens.

We hope to grow compassion within our church family and among our neighbors. We will grow fruits and vegetables and make these available through a variety of distribution methods to assist those in need.
