Children
KIDMO Training
KIDMO training is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6 @ 5:00, or Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 9:00.
All KIDMO volunteers need to attend one of these sessions.
Move-Up Weekend
Moving-UP weekend for KIDMO is Sept 6th & 7th.
All first graders are invited to join us in KIDMO upstairs when children are dismissed from the sanctuary.
Parents please escort your children to KIDMO!
Sixth graders are now part of the "youth" and will follow the youth dismissals.
Bible Book-it
In order to receive an award, all summer reading logs must be turned in by Aug 30 & 31.
An ICE CREAM PARTY for all Bible Book-it participates:
Saturday congregation: September 20 @ 5:00
Sunday congregation: September 21 @ 11:30
*The awards for reading all four months will be given during the party.
Missions
Want to tutor children?
We are very excited to be given the opportunity to work in the Burnley-Moran elementary school to help tutor children.
Some of these children live in the Riverside neighborhood by the church!
The commitment would be for one semester beginning October 6th and ending on December 4th, 2009.
Days available are Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday from 3:00-4:30pm.

Center for Christian Study
"What is the Bible, and Where Did It Come From?"
is a four-night lecture series on Wednesdays that begins September 17, at 7 p.m.,
at the Center for Christian Study.
The instructor is Drew Trotter, president of the Center for Christian Study.
These lectures and discussions will focus on what we are to believe about Scripture,
and where the Bible came from.
