Class descriptions:  

"Old Testament Survey"
This 9-week course is open to all and will address issues such as:  What is the relationship between the Old and New Testaments?  Can we understand the gospel without understanding the meaning of "covenant"? Has science made our understanding of the first two chapters of Genesis obsolete.

This course will lay the foundation for understanding the words of Jesus; "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." (Luke 24:44).  Our readings will encompass large portions of the Old Testament.  In addition, we will offer a supplementary text to guide you in your readings: The Old Testament Speaks, by Samuel J. Shultz.

Life Training School
LTS is focused on the restoration of the believer and the establishment of strong bonds of love with Father God, along with the basic principles of a Christian lifestyle. This is a foundational course for Christian life and ministry and a prerequisite to the Dynamics of Change class.  Click here to check out the promo video.

The Dynamics of Change
Prerequisite: Life Training School
Through a first-hand understanding of progressive sanctification, students learn to connect biblical truth to case study realities and life details. Topics covered include the nature of idolatry and faith; the relationship between motive and action; the way Christ's past, present, and future grace intersects with and affects how people live their daily lives; and the interplay of suffering and other situational factors with a person's actions and reactions.

The Truth Project
The Truth Project is a DVD-based curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. After each lesson there will be group discussion. Click here to view a promo clip.

The goal of this 6-week course is to equip every participant to pursue a ministry of healing prayer, whether in the local church, a missions setting, or “on the street.”  Each week a look at some aspect of the Bible’s teaching on prayer will be coupled with extensive time to practice.
