His Passion: Obedient


Summary: This gospel account finds Jesus’ with his sleepy disciples in his greatest hour of need.  In agony over God’s looming wrath, not to mention his disciples apathy and future scattering, Jesus steadfastly set his heart to prayer and obedience.

1.   What is the most isolated time in your life which you can recall?  Discuss what it felt like and how you dealt with it.

2.   How does the scene in the garden speak to that time?

3.    What tangible steps can you take to close the “spirit willing/flesh weak-gap” in your own life?
