God of the Harvest: Willing Love (Ruth 3)

Summary

Boaz redeems Ruth not because he has to, but because he wants to.  In this picture of love, we’re directed toward a God who loves and redeems us with the same heart.

Application Questions:

1.  In Ruth 3:1-6, we see Ruth and Naomi acting on God’s Word to them in the guardian-redeemer law of Israel.   Are we active or passive when it comes to responding to God’s promises?  How can you tell?

2.  What do you imagine God speaking over you?  How do you know?  Do you struggle to believe them?
