On Sunday, Oct 25th, Bill spoke about a disciple’s relationships,  namely that they would be defined by love.   As Jesus said, A new command I give you:  Love one another.  As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another (John 13:34-35).

Our relationship with brothers and sisters in the church is not fast-food, “your way right away”, but a feast – slowly enjoyed.  We are with one another

There are some practices that will help us to live this out as we love one another in d-groups.

1. Learn to ask questions

2. Learn to listen

3. Spend relational time together

4. Learn to be an encourager (a skill!)

5. Demonstrate vulnerability

6. Seek the Helper (God’s Spirit, send to comfort, guide, and convict)
